Leveraging HKSTP’s startup ecosystem, INCIPE Academy is accelerating its mission to revolutionize STEM education by empowering students to turn their ideas into real-world products. Our curriculum combines coding, UI/UX, 3D Design, Rendering, Pitching with hands-on learning experience to prepare innovators towards the field of entrepreneurship.
Role & Responsibilities
As a STEM Course Instructor, you will:
Develop and deliver engaging STEM lessons for students aged 12-16
Teach students the fundamental skills for product design and development
Mentor students to build products with their passions and interests
Provide concrete feedback and timely support to students
Participate in curriculum development and team discussions with founders
Qualifications
Undergraduate students in any related discipline.
You should be proficient in one or multiple of the following expertises:
Coding
Proficiency in C/C++, Python development with microcontrollers (e.g. ARM, Espressif)
Clearly demonstrate and explain fundamental coding concepts to beginners
Problem-solving skills are essential for guiding students to build product ideas
Candidates with prior project experience are preferable but not required
Optionally contribute to the team product R&D in education and technology
UI/UX
Proven experience in UI/UX design or a related field
Strong portfolio showcasing your design work with personal or professional projects
Experience in teaching students design thinking is preferable but not required
Proficiency in professional design tools (e.g. Figma)
Passion for graphic design education and a desire to inspire young learners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3D Design and Rendering
Proficiency in any 3D CAD software (Shapr3D preferred)
Prior experience in product design or 3D modeling for 3D printing is highly valued
Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in product design, professional projects, or personal creations
Prior teaching or tutoring experience in 3D modeling is preferred
Experience with Blender rendering is a bonus
Patient, friendly, and capable of supporting students of varying skill levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster an engaging and encouraging learning environment
